Improving the Environment in the Quad

An inspired group of "environmental activists" met last term to put together plans for improving the quad environment. They included Edward, Lucy, Braeden, and Catherine who are all on the Youth Council and others who want to see the environment improved.

They are going to put a plan to Youth Council which includes purchasing better quality recycling, green waste and rubbish bins, building low walls for additional seating enclosing green areas and erecting a covered area along the building in front of B Block.

Valuable ideas were gained from students completing the survey in extended roll call on Tuesday. William even had a suggestion from his last school of a competition to see which house recycled the best using brightly coloured "house bins" to stop the litter and waste.
