Dear Parents and Carers,
Lockdown for regional NSW has been extended until midnight on Friday 10th September. This means that we will be continuing on Level 4 restrictions necessitating Learning from Home for another 2 weeks.
The Secretary of Education, Georgina Harrison, will be updating Principals tomorrow afternoon on a plan to return students to school. I am not sure when that will be or what it will look like for us. I expect to have more detail on this after the webinar and will send out an update tomorrow afternoon.
Thank you for supporting us in supervising your children's learning at home. We absolutely know that this has its challenges and I thank you for the feedback provided in the short survey this week. We have realigned some practices around workload and communication. The attached Remote Learning Process aims to clarify the steps that teachers will take to deliver learning tasks to their students and the expectations for students to complete and submit this work.
Please continue to contact the school with any concerns you have or supports you need to assist your children. We are all hopeful of a return to school as quickly as possible.
