YASS HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE FAIR
Thursday 19th August 4:30 – 6 pm Yass High will be hosting a Science Fair during National Science week this year.
Last year our plans for a Science Fair were somewhat thwarted by COVID 19. We managed to have a selection of very high-quality projects, thanks to the hard work of the teachers and students at Yass Public School, and a few of our dedicated Year 10 students.
This year we are very excited to be able to host an event at school with unlimited numbers and hopefully no restrictions.
Primary schools from the local area are completing class projects to enter. Year 7,8 and 9 students from Yass High are strongly encouraged to complete a project and enter it into the Science Fair. This is especially encouraged for students who have already identified being interested in a career in Science, or wanting to study a Science course in Year 11 or 12.
Year 10 Science students must complete a Science Project as an assessment that will go towards their ROSA grade.
The school will provide lunchtime support for students to complete their projects, on Tuesday’s in the STEM building.
